Boxing Day, “vaccinations” at the center of the campaign aimed at students

Tomorrow, a conference aimed at raising awareness about the importance of vaccinations and correct behaviors in the prevention of communicable diseases will take place in Santo Stefano di Camastra. The event, organized by the operational unit Hope of Asp of Messina, will be held at the Cinetheater “Glauco” and will target students from the Regional High School of S. Stefano di Camastra and the Technical Tourism and Hotel Professional Institutes of IIS Alessandro Manzoni of Mistretta.

The conference will feature speakers such as the extraordinary commissioner of Asp of Messina, Giuseppe Cuccì, the mayors of Santo Stefano di Camastra and Mistretta, and the head teachers of the participating schools. The event will include sessions on vaccines and prevention, as well as protecting health through lifestyle choices.

“Infectious diseases are caused by pathogens that can enter our body and cause various pathologies,” explains Giuseppe Cuccì. “Thanks to vaccination, many of these diseases are now preventable, demonstrating the importance of prevention for public health. Vaccination not only protects the individual but also the entire community.”

The conference aims to inform citizens about the benefits and safety of vaccines, stressing the importance of responsible actions towards one’s own health and the health of others. All citizens are invited to participate in the event and learn more about protecting themselves and their community from infectious diseases.
