NEOM hosts “latest version” of its global introductory tour, “Discover NEOM”
NEOM organized the latest edition of its global introductory tour, “Discover NEOM”, in China, specifically in the cities of Beijing and Shanghai, in the presence of over 500 business and industry leaders.
The tour began with an event organized by NEOM in the Chinese capital, Beijing, on April 15, in cooperation with the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade in Beijing, followed by the organization of another tour in Shanghai on April 17, which was organized in cooperation with the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade in Shanghai.
NEOM senior leaders presented the most important findings and developments of the project so far. Numerous details about the different most important sectors of NEOM were also examined and many companies expressed great interest in the future partnership opportunities presented.
The tour included holding a special forum for the construction industry, attended by more than 100 Chinese construction companies, reviewing the construction opportunities available to them in NEOM and its various regions, as well as informing them of the level of construction progress .
The tour featured a special presentation titled “Discover NEOM: A Future Made by Design,” which provided audiences with a live experience to explore some of the NEOM region’s most notable landmarks, including: the city’s “The Line ”, which is currently under construction, extends for 170 km and will shape the future of urban life; “Oxagon”, which redefines traditional industrial cities, “Trogena”, NEOM’s mountain tourism destination, and “Sindala”, NEOM’s luxury marine tourism destination located on the Red Sea, which will welcome the public by the end of ‘year.
NEOM CEO Engineer Nazmi Al-Nasr said: “We appreciate the support provided to us by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade in Beijing and Shanghai and its projects are in continuous cooperation with the Chinese business sector, and today we are in communication and cooperation with more than 15 major Chinese companies.”
