Will loners and introverts save the world? A study of amoebas points to the answer

There are creatures that are not synchronized with a coordinated majority and therefore reproduce, migrate, or blossom at times other than the mass. But are they left behind for accidental reasons or for a survival strategy? Researchers at Princeton University in New Jersey wondered. To answer the question, they studied the behavior of amoebas found inside the slime mold, scientifically called Dictyostelium discoideum.
