The crime story of Liliana in Trieste: according to the prosecutor “almost certain that the body found is hers”

by admin

It is now almost certain: the lifeless body found in the park of the former Opp of San Giovanni is “with high probability that of Liliana Resinovic”. This was explained in a press release by the Public Prosecutor Antonio De Nicolo in which it is confirmed that last Saturday 8 January the “programmed Tac” was carried out from which the consultants, doctors Cavalli and Costantinides deduced, as mentioned above, a high probability that the woman’s body is that of Liliana Resinovic ». The CT scan carried out on the woman’s body found in recent days in a grove of Trieste has therefore not definitively resolved the enigma of the identity of the corpse, nor has it identified the causes of death. On the other hand, the fact that there is a “high probability” that it is the missing woman is confirmed but, as for the causes of death, it will be necessary to wait for the result of the autopsy, which will be performed tomorrow. The Prosecutor also made it known that as part of the investigations, conducted by the Trieste mobile squad and coordinated by the prosecutor Maddalena Chergia, today the forensic police will examine all the objects that have been found on the woman’s body. Investigators hope that useful elements for understanding what happened may emerge from this examination. For a definitive truth it will be necessary, as we said, to wait for the autopsy, which will be performed tomorrow 11 January. There has been no news of the 63-year-old Resinovich since 14 December.

The testimony of the husband
A story that is at times incoherent, at times incomplete and vague. Words spoken and contradicted about the last hours of his wife’s life, those of Sebastiano Visintin, husband of the woman who disappeared in Tieste on December 14 and whose body is allegedly the one found on January 5 in a wood not far from his home. There are also these pieces to match in the intricate yellow of Liliana Resinovich’s death: versions now under the lens of the investigators who first of all have the primary objective of giving certainty to the identification of the woman found dead.
