Rising at the start of the day for Piazza Affari. After the declines of the last few sessions, the Ftse Mib index marks + 0.36% at 27,468 points. Yesterday Wall Street experienced a nervous session closing in the red (About -1% for the S & P500, Dow Jones and Nasdaq) with Treasury yields leaping to new highs in the 1.90% area.
Among the big names in Piazza Affari, Telecom Italia is trying to recover (+ 1.2%) after three consecutive sessions in sharp decline. Oil stocks contrasted with + 0.7% for Saipem and Tenaris, while ENI recorded -0.3%. The IEA in its monthly report revised its projections for growth in crude oil demand for 2021 and 2022 slightly upwards.
Enel is up (+ 0.48%) with the latest indications that speak of 4 billion euros of government measures against expensive bills. Among these there should not be the taxation of the extra-profits of companies that produce hydroelectric energy as the intervention would be complicated to develop in a short time.
Finally, Poste Italiane (+ 0.22%) made little move, which according to press rumors is considering the acquisition of 100% of Lis Holding – Lottomatica Italia Servizi, a company that is wholly owned by Igt Lottery and which in turn controls 100% of Lis Pay.
