The Treviso Mobile team has taken the 27-year-old in jail, responsible for the snatching in front of the ATM and for the shots in the shops of Via Ronchese
TREVISO. The splits in via Ronchese and the snatches of Santa Bona had the same signature: that of a 27-year-old who was arrested by the Mobile team and taken to prison. He is held responsible for robberies which occurred in January and February to the detriment of two elderly people who had just withdrawn a few hundred euros from the cash machine in Largo Varetton.
The modus operandi has always been the same: after waiting for the completion of the operation at the counter by the Senior citizens, surprised them from behind, snatching the money withdrawn from their hands, yanking them before fleeing. In both cases, the Public Prosecutor, sharing the investigative hypotheses proposed by the Flying Squad, also recognized the aggravating circumstances connected with the advanced age of the victims.
The 27-year-old is also believed to be responsible for the two split scored at the bar and at the haberdashery in via Ronchese during the same period. In both cases the thief had broken through the shop windows and forced the shutters. In both cases, apart from the damage caused to the shops, the thief managed to steal around 200 euros in total from the cash registers.
The investigation of the Flying Squad, also carried out through the images of the cameras citizens and private individuals, allowed the 27-year-old to be indicted for these crimes which had aroused strong social concern, and was arrested on Friday morning and accompanied to the prison of S. Bona, in execution of the precautionary custody measure.
