Itabus relaunches on three fronts: expands the bus fleet with 30 new vehicleslands in Sicily and debuts in links within the same regions (including Campania, Emilia-Romagna, Lazio and Lombardy). The new private long-distance road transport company is preparing to celebrate its first year of activity (Itabus debuted on Italian roads on May 27, 2021) with a flurry of news. And in view of theestateItabus has also prepared new services for places with a strong tourist vocation: they will be connected to the main Italian cities such as Milan, Rome and Naples, destinations such as Otranto, Gallipoli, Ostuni, Rimini, Riccione, Cattolica, Senigallia, San Benedetto del Tronto and many others. But let’s proceed in order.
The fleet expands
Itabus announces the arrival of 30 new buses, the Neoplan Skyliners produced by the German group Man, elected buses of the year 2022, which will bring the fleet to 100 vehicles available at the moment (when fully operational they will be 300), giving way to offer 110 daily services, connecting more than 140 locations for a total of over 800 routes per day.
Destinations are also growing
Thanks to the new buses, from next June Itabus will enhance its services, strengthening those on the main routes and connecting new regions to its network: Sicily, Trentino-Alto Adige and Friuli-Venezia Giulia.
Sicily, which will be connected to Bari, Naples and Rome with 10 daily services distributed on 4 different lines, will have numerous stops to ensure territorial coverage and different choices. Itabus will stop in Palermo, Termini Imerese, CefalĆ¹, Milazzo, Messina, Agrigento, Caltanissetta, Enna, Catania, Taormina-Giardini Naxos, Syracuse and Augusta.
In Trentino, on the other hand, Bolzano, Trento and Rovereto will be served with 4 trips a day to Rome and Naples. Then there is Friuli, with the cities of Trieste (8 trips per day), Udine (2 daily services) and Gorizia (2 daily connections), which will be connected to various locations, including Venice, Milan, Rome and Naples.
