In Chivasso, a project will revive great football

Officially canceled from the calendars at the beginning of the season (late September), amid the general disbelief and the sincere pain of the romantics and its fans, football in Chivasso is ready to return, to be reborn from its ashes like the phoenix. In recent weeks, some courageous lovers of Chivasso football such as Eugenio Giraulo (who will be the president), Giancarlo Giovine, Massimiliano Brescia, Ortenzio Longo and the journalist Andrea Bucci have decided to bring football back to Chivasso.

The project will be officially unveiled on Friday, May 13, at 9 pm at the multipurpose hall of the Red Cross in via Gerbido. From what transpires there will be no relationship with the La Chivasso Recreational Sports Union, which celebrated its centenary in 2019. It will be a new reality simply called the Chivasso football amateur sports association.

The goal is to bring football back to the city and provide a meeting point for young people and sportsmen of all ages. At the center of the project are children between five and nine years old (football school), while in the medium-long term there will be the registration of the first team in the FIGC championships, with the starting category which will be, by regulation, the lowest. or the Third. The company colors will continue to be white and red, to which blue has been added, while the city of Chivasso is recalled within the emblem. To Ettore Pastore or to Paolo Rava (the doubt about the facility that will be the new home of Chivasso football should be resolved on Friday) in the next season 2022/2023 we will return to talk about football with an already winning project considered already successful, given the ‘enthusiasm. It was unthinkable that a city like Chivasso could not have its own football team given the glorious past in categories such as Excellence. –
