Directed by Chen Sicheng and starring Huang Bo and Rong Zishan, the fantasy family film “Mozart from Space” (Mozart from Space) released a trailer and poster today, and the official announcement is scheduled to be released nationwide on July 15.
The film tells the story of the father Ren Dawang (played by Huang Bo) who wants to train his son Ren Xiaotian (played by Rong Zishan), who likes astronomy, into a pianist, and the two continue to “fight”. The mysterious alien Mozart appeared unexpectedly to help Xiaotian and his father “fight their wits”, but Mozart seemed to have another mission when he came to earth…
In the trailer, Ren Xiaotian played the piano under the urging of his father Ren Dawang, but he felt that his doll would move. It turned out that the doll had become an alien, and it would play the piano music Mozart, so Ren Xiaotian named the alien “Mozart” . Mozart’s “magic” opened Ren Xiaotian’s horizons, and Ren Dawang and Ren Xiaotian’s father and son welcomed this alien “cute” friend, and thus started a new fantasy journey.
The finalized poster is based on the vast blue universe. Father and son Ren Dawang and Ren Xiaotian stick their heads out, and the alien Mozart is drilled above Dad’s head. Their eyes are focused on a blue planet in the universe.
It is reported that the movie “Mozart in Outer Space” was filmed by IMAX cameras throughout the whole process. This is also a new theme movie created by Chen Sicheng after the “Tang Detective” series.
It is worth mentioning that another comedy movie “Learning Dad” starring Huang Bo was previously announced to be released on July 8, a week earlier than “Mozart in Outer Space”. The film was directed and written by Su Liang, and also starred Yan Ni, Zhang Junning, Zhang Zixian, Shan Yuhao and Wan Qian. The film tells a story about the growth of a father and son through a series of funny parent-child stories through Lei Xiaomi’s schooling experience. Huang Bo plays his father Lei Dali.
