The Iranian Parliament and the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution are examining the issue of the hijab, the Islamic veil, which is mandatory for women: the country’s attorney general announced, Mohammad Javad Montazeri, promising quick results, but without specifying how the law could be changed.
