GENOA (ITALPRESS) – Four free training courses to work on board cruise ships as an entertainer, photographer or pastry chef. Costa Cruises organizes them. The courses are supported by the Sicilian Region with resources from the European Social Fund as part of the 2014-2020 programming, and have as their objective the training of the four professional figures to be included on board Costa ships. There are 20 places available for each course, for a total of 80 places. The selected students will have the opportunity to access 300 hours of classroom and 90 of internship, at the Palermo office of the Global Service for Enterprises. At the end of the courses Costa Cruises undertakes to hire on board its ships, with a renewable fixed-term contract, at least 55% of eligible students. The courses are intended for unemployed or unemployed people of working age. For the figures of animator, child animator and photographer, a high school diploma, a good knowledge of English and another language of your choice between French and German are required. For the Commis Pastry Chef, a high school diploma in hospitality or a three-year qualification in the kitchen sector is required, as well as a good knowledge of the English language.
