At today’s 5G messaging high-level forum, Huang Changjian, deputy general manager of China Unicom’s product center, said that China Unicom’s 5G messaging nationwide operation platform has been completed, and the capabilities of traditional SMS, digital SMS and 5G messaging have been intensive. 5G news may be trial commercial nationwide in mid-to-late October.
Du Chengxin, general manager of the 5G messaging operation department of China Telecom’s value-added service operation center, also said that China Telecom and China Unicom have kept pace. The basic platform construction and deployment of 5G messaging has been completed and it has entered the final verification stage and will be launched in the fourth quarter of this year.
