A new non-stop air link between the United States and Italy. The aera Delta company has inaugurated the Boston-Rome. Operating three times a week, it adds to the airline’s daily non-stop services from Atlanta and New York-Jfk to the capital. “Italy has always been one of the most popular European destinations for Delta customers, and since the country eased entry restrictions and quarantine requirements for non-essential travel, we have seen demand for our flights, ā€said Amy Martin, Delta’s Managing Director – Network Planning. “Boston has an important Italian community and this new flight will allow them to reunite with family and friends across the Atlantic.”

A recent research by Isnart, the National Tourist Research Institute of Unioncamere, predicts that, following the relaxation of restrictions on entry into the country for foreign visitors, 32% more international tourists will visit Italy in July and August compared to the same period last year.

In total, during the peak summer season, Delta will offer 17 weekly flights to Rome, operated with Airbus A330s configured with Delta One, Delta Comfort + and Main Cabin business class. In addition, this summer Delta also connects New York-Jfk in Milan and Venice with Atlanta and New York-Jfk. All Delta flights to Italy are operated in collaboration with partners Air France, KLM and Virgin Atlantic.
