The Algerian group of Sonatrach signed a memorandum of understanding in Algiers with the American firm ExxonMobil, associated to the joint improvement of hydrocarbon sources in Algeria.
This settlement will enable our companions to study in regards to the alternatives out there to develop hydrocarbon sources within the Ahnet Basin and Gourara Basin, specializing in operational excellence, technological innovation, environmental friendliness and sustainability greatest practices.
The signing ceremony was held on the headquarters of Sonatrach’s General Management, beneath the president of the CEO of the group, Rachid Hachichi, the administration of the group and the group of the American firm ExxonMobil.
The memorandum of understanding was signed by Sonatrach’s CEO Vice President, Business Development and Marketing, Ferhat Ounoughi, and ExxonMobil’s Vice President of Exploration and New Opportunities, John Ardill.
