Apple is taking additional steps with iOS and iPadOS 16 to encourage those testing the latest software to submit bugs and issues they encounter so they can be fixed before the software’s release this fall.

Apple released iOS 16, iPadOS 16, watchOS 9 and macOS Ventura this week, and these major system updates will not be widely available to users until the fall. Until then, members of the Apple Developer Program will test the new system on devices. The test is designed to help developers update their apps and allow Apple to receive feedback on updates.

In general, beta testers can use the preinstalled feedback app to submit issues they find. However, the process of submitting bugs and feedback is sometimes complicated,And beta testers aren’t always willing to submit problemsApple hopes to change that this year.

Starting with Beta 1 of the iOS 16 and iPadOS 16 developer previews released this week, MacRumors reports,If the iPhone or iPad crashes, restarts, or has a serious system-level error, the system will automatically pop up a window prompting beta testers to submit the problem to Apple officials

These include making sure that bugs are reported as soon as they occur, making sure the reports are sufficiently concise and detailed, and submitting issues with relevant screenshots or screen recordings whenever possible.Return to Sohu, see more
