The Ascopiave Group has acquired, through the subsidiary Asco Renewables, a 60% stake in the capital of Salinella Eolico belonging to Renco. This is learned in a note from the company active in the natural gas distribution sector which indicates that Salinella Eolico, held for the remaining 40% by Renco, is planning the construction of a wind farm in the province of Catanzaro with nominal power up to to 21 MW, part of which already authorized by the competent authorities and part in an advanced phase of authorization. The construction of the wind farm, which will be carried out by Renco, will involve a total investment of approximately 30 million euros.
“This operation constitutes another important step in the path undertaken by the Ascopiave Group towards the energy transition”, comments Nicola Cecconato, president, CEO and general manager of Ascopiave.
