In February, the asset management industry raised € 6.3 billion, a figure that brings the overall balance of net deposits in the first two months of the year to € 10.6 billion. Thus the monthly map of managed savings for the month of February 2022, according to which open-end funds recorded a positive net balance of 4 billion, while 2 billion net flows into portfolio management, half of which relating to retail mandates. At the category level, savers directed their preferences in particular on equity funds (+2.2 billion) and on balanced funds (+1.6 billion).
Assets under management at the end of February stood at 2,508 billion as a result of the decline in the markets which the Research Department quantifies at around two percentage points. The main share of assets, 1,312 billion (equal to 52% of the total), is used in open and closed funds. Investments in portfolio management amounted to 1,196 billion.
