Beppe Grillo: the decadence of the old comedian. While he speaks people get up and leave because he has a plane
The scenario was at the European Parliament in Brussels. Velvety atmospheres and the scent of power. The no longer former comedian, given that he has now returned to practicing his profession as a comedian, was haranguing a tired and saturated audience during a conference on universal citizenship income, one of the many nonsense that after having caused enormous damage in Italy with a chasm in the State public accounts is trying to export internationally. The event was organized on the third floor of Palazzo Altiero Spinelli by two MEPs, Sabrina Pignedoli and Laura Ferrara who for this deserve a particular motion of disgrace. Grillo was – as usual – a rhetorical party when suddenly dozens of people demobilized in unison, almost obeying an atavistic sense of survival.
Having taken the clothes, the bags, the jackets, the snacks, they got up and made a great getaway. At that point the former politician noticed it and said in dismay: «Where are you going? Oh? Stop, stop, finished, finished!», “To Sor Tribuno” – someone must have told him – We have the plane”. At that point Grillo blanched and asked: “And what the fuck plane? Okay then I say goodbye.”
No one cares about Grillo anymore
But they had already left at the speed of light and all he had to do was take a couple of sad selfies with those who hadn’t managed to escape in time, after the shop assistants had blocked the doors, like in a Fantozzi film. . In short, a fool of the big ones, we could say universal and international ones that reflect the extent to which Grillo is no longer absolutely capable of having an impact on the people who have finally understood the game. He talks about poverty, but only that of others – while he is filthy rich and takes an ultra – salary – which some evilly call “pocket money” but should instead call “paycheck” – from the one who took the Movement from him, namely Giuseppe With you.
He talks about the fight against pollution – always from others – and goes around with a super-polluting motorboat in Sardinia, where he stays in a villa. And so on.
The Five Star Movement is in decline, and has been for some time, they now have some rare flickers of pseudo-vitality conveyed by that great cosmic rascal who goes by the name of Giuseppe Conte, but now they are destined to merge with what was once the hated Pd, or rather “Pdl – l”, as Grillo mocked it.
It is true that there are still some traces around, like Luigi Di Maio in the Persian Gulf (think about how we are) and Virginia Raggi in Rome, now reduced to the role of simple municipal councilor. But the damage for Italy remains, just think of the madness of the Superbonuses and Bonuses which have produced holes in the budget of hundreds of billions of euros. Grillo’s listeners in Brussels therefore resisted for too long. They had to take the earlier plane.
