In April, requests for more targeted personal loans by Italian families grow, equal to + 34.3%. Thus emerges from the analysis of the requests registered on the CRIF Credit Information System, which shows a + 35.6% for loans for the purchase of goods and services, confirming the growing propensity of Italian families to meet new expenses with the support of a loan. The growth in requests for personal loans was also sustained, both compared to March and compared to the corresponding month of last year (+ 32.3%).
The CRIF study shows that the average amount of loans requested, in the aggregate of personal and finalized loans, in April stood at € 8,811 and sees a significant decrease (-7.0%) compared to the value of the same month of 2021. Overall, 54.3% of requests have an amount of less than 5,000 euros.
Going into detail, as regards the finalized loans, the average amount requested amounted to € 6,089 (-13.2% compared to April 2021) against € 12,940 for personal loans (-1.3% compared to April 2021) .
