Langhe, Monferrato and Roero raise onfood and wine tourism and expand the territorial tourist offer with the didactic harvest, as a note informs. From the beginning of September to mid-October, tourists can discover the secrets of work in the vineyard. Coordinated activities that allow you to participate in one of the most significant moments in the world of wine and to get to know the realities of family-run wineries.
As explained by the Tourist Board, the didactic harvesting activity is an immersive journey that begins with the welcome in the cellar, continues in the vineyard with the introduction to the harvest. It will be possible to harvest the most famous vines of Langhe Monferrato Roero, depending on the area: Nebbiolo, Barbera, Dolcetto, Arneis, Moscato, Favorita, Chardonnay, Pelaverga, Freisa, Bonarda, Ruché, Cortese, Albarossa, Grignolino, Merlot, Pinot grigio, Pinot nero, Sauvignon.
The harvest experience can be combined with one or more additional services offered by the cellars, such as tasting of typical local products or yoga in the vineyard.
The project is conceived and promoted by Langhe Monferrato Roero Tourist Board and operationally managed by Piemonte On Wine (www.piemonteonwine.it), with the aim of implementing, differentiating and improving the wine tourism product in Langhe Monferrato Roero, as well as increasing the global attractiveness of the destination.
