The resources allocated by the Ministry of Economic Development (Mise) to the digitization of Italy’s productive fabric are 609 million euros, which is also one of the priorities indicated in the NRP. This is the provisions of the implementing decree of the “Voucher plan for businesses” signed by Minister Giancarlo Giorgetti.

This is an important intervention envisaged as part of the Italian strategy for ultra-broadband which, after the incentives in favor of families and schools, aims at reaching businesses in this new phase. An audience that, depending on the type and amount of the voucher that will be requested, may vary from a minimum of 850,000 to a maximum of 1,400,000 beneficiary companies.

“We deploy important resources to support the digitalization of businesses in order to reduce the digital divide of the production system throughout the country”, declares Minister Giorgetti who adds: “We must speed up investments in the country’s ultra-broadband and seize the opportunity of the resources allocated in the NRP “.

Businesses will be able to request a single voucher which can be of different amounts, from a minimum of 300 euros to a maximum of 2,000 euros, and of different duration of the contract, from a minimum of 18 months to a maximum of 36 months, to guarantee a increase in connection speed, from 30 Mbit / s to over 1Gbit / s. Furthermore, in the case of switching to 1 Gbit / s connections, the value of the voucher may be increased by a further contribution of a maximum value of 500 euros, to cover part of the costs incurred by the beneficiary companies and justified by the operators.
