Airlines Offer Discounts on Tickets to the United States
Airlines are continuing to offer discounts on tickets to different destinations, and if you are interested or must travel to the United States, the current promotions of Latam Airlines and Delta Air Lines could interest you. Between today, January 23, and next Thursday, January 25, these companies are offering discounts to travel to the North American country from US$231 each way for flights between February 7 and March 31 from Bogotá.
Latam Airlines Promotion
“This promotion is available on the Latam website, www.latamairlines.com, and tickets can also be purchased by combining miles and money. In addition, through the same platform, you can purchase everything you need for the trip, including hotel, insurance, vehicle rental, and activities in the cities,” Latam announced in a statement.
Delta Offers
In total, there will be nine routes operated by Delta that are on offer: Bogotá – New York and Bogotá – Atlanta, which operate directly, and to Raleigh Durhman, Boston, Salt Lake City, Baltimore, Seattle, Minneapolis, and Detroit, they have a stopover in Atlanta.
Agreement between Airlines
Latam and Delta have had a commercial agreement since 2022 that aims to offer more connectivity alternatives between the United States and Colombia to travelers of the two airlines. This alliance allows for promotions like these. “This agreement expands to markets between North America (United States and Canada) and South America (Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Paraguay, Peru, and Uruguay), offering significant advantages such as the joint accumulation of miles/points in frequent flyer programs and more efficient connections, enabling access to more than 300 destinations between the US, Canada, and South America,” Latam noted.
Additionally, Delta, which operates routes from Bogotá to Miami and New York, is offering a second daily flight on the Bogotá – Atlanta route. At the end of last year, the operation of the Cartagena – Atlanta route began with three frequencies a week.
