Federico Visentin is the sole candidate for the presidency of Federmeccanica. It was designated by the General Council, which met today online. The election of the new president, who succeeds Alberto Dal Poz from Turin, will take place during the general assembly on 25 June.
Born in Padua in 1963, graduated in Business Administration from Bocconi, since the late 90’s Visentin has been running the family business, Mevis SpA of Rosà (Vicenza) founded in 1961 and specialized in the design and production of springs and molded metal components and welded. Current vice president of Federmeccanica with responsibility for Education, Visentin is delegate for Italy on the board of ESF – European Mollifici Federation and president of Cuoa – Altavilla Vicentina Business School.
