New leaders are coming for Fincantieri. The board of directors of Cassa Depositi e Prestiti (Cdp) approved, in view of the renewal of the board of the Trieste group, on the agenda of the meeting on May 16, the list of candidates with Claudio Graziano towards the presidency and Pierroberto Folgiero CEO (current CEO of Maire Tecnimont takes the place of Giuseppe Bono who has been at the helm of Fincantieri since 2002). The list will be presented by Cdp Industria, shareholder of Fincantieri with a participation equal to 71.32% of the share capital.
The note also specifies that the following resolution proposals will be presented: appoint Claudio Graziano as chairman of the board; determine the number of directors to be appointed in ten; the directors will remain in office for three financial years, expiring on the date of the shareholders’ meeting that will be called to approve the financial statements at 31 December 2024; confirm the gross annual remuneration due to each of the directors (including the chairman) in 50 thousand euros, in addition to the reimbursement of expenses incurred in connection with the appointment.
