Electric batteries
During the stop on the quay, the Gg5g ships can in fact use theelectricity stored by mega lithium batteries with a total power of 5 megawatt hours, which are recharged during navigation thanks to shaft generator and 350 square meters of solar panels. In addition, they are equipped with electronically controlled engines and an exhaust gas purification system for the abatement of sulfur and particulate emissions.
