Italy is back. Among the G7 economies it is the one that is growing at the fastest pace. The International Monetary Fund has revised its forecasts for 2021 upwards and the most significant adjustment was made for Italy: 0.9 percent more than the July estimates. The year will close with a plus 6 per cent and it is not just a strong rebound after the collapse of 2020 with a GDP down by 8.9 per cent.
