Since the breakthrough of the Chat GPT chatbot, one technology in particular has dominated the corporate world: artificial intelligence. The hype surrounding the complex algorithms knows no end. The enthusiasm is entirely understandable. Because one thing is certain: where there is a lot of data, artificial intelligence can have a major impact.
There is a particularly large amount of data in medicine. Patient symptoms, blood evaluations, treatment courses, clinical studies – the healthcare system is virtually flooded with them. The fact that AI supports doctors in this is not a dream of the future. Doctors are already using AI-supported software and algorithms to evaluate data.
The patients usually don’t notice anything about it. But the market for AI products in medical diagnostics is getting bigger and bigger. The Analyseplattform Research Nester assumes annual growth of 45 percent until 2030. In addition to global players like Siemens, more and more startups are entering the market to offer their AI solutions.
