The recent appointment of Francesco Profumo as president of isybank, the digital bank of the Intesa Sanpaolo group, marks a significant moment for the financial institution. Profumo, with an illustrious past which includes the role of Dean of the Faculty of Engineering of the Polytechnic of Turin, Rector of the same university between 2005 and 2011, President of the Compagnia di San Paolo from 2016 to 2024, Minister of Education, University and Research from 2011 to 2013, President of the CNR from 2011 to 2012 and, more recently, Member of the European Innovation Council of the European Commission, brings with him vast experience and expertise.
Mario Boselli, previously at the helm of isybank and a leading figure in the textile business world, has decided to pass the baton to Profumo, taking on the role of vice president. This transition ensures continuity in leadership while introducing new perspectives within the board of directors, which also sees Antonio Valitutti confirmed in the role of CEO and welcomes qualified members such as Vanna Alfieri, Giampio Bracchi, Renato Cerioli, Achille Galdini, Paola Papanicolau, Claudia Vassena.
