The British company Sdx energy has announced that it has received the necessary government authorizations to start gas production in Morocco. In a press release, the company indicated earlier in the week that “gas production has begun” at the KSR-21 well in Gharb, near Kenitra.
Sdx holds a direct 75% stake in its Moroccan portfolio, which includes “exploration” permits and concessions and gas wells. The company sells to eight customers, at contract prices varying between 10 and 12 Usd/Mcf.
