Palermo – Non-repayable grants for micro-enterprises in the urban areas of Agrigento, Bagheria, Caltanissetta, Enna, Messina, Modica, Palermo and Ragusa damaged by the financial crisis caused by the Covid-19 emergency. The objective of the Musumeci government is to support the productive fabric affected by the pandemic by making available the necessary liquidity to support the reduction in turnover caused by the closures of the past months “.

To benefit from the new measure developed by the regional department for productive activities, in collaboration with the administrations of the urban areas involved, will be the artisan, commercial, industrial and service micro-enterprises that have their legal or operational headquarters in the municipalities concerned and an Ateco code among those indicated by each territorial area. The grant is granted up to a maximum of 5 thousand euros for each applicant company and will be calculated on the basis of the financial allocation assigned to each municipality divided by the number of applications submitted within the deadline. The foreseen financial endowment is equal to 25,610,028.88 euros from the Po-Fesr 2014/2020 and will be distributed on a territorial basis; provides for 1,657,000 euros for the urban area of ​​Agrigento, 2,278,346.88 for that of Bagheria, 2,285,000 for Caltanissetta, 2,285,000 for Enna. Instead, 4,633,808.40 euros will go to Messina, and still 1,261,667 to Modica and 3,280,333 to Ragusa. Closes the urban area of ​​Palermo with 7,928,873.60 euros.

The procedure for accessing the Sicily Bonus – “Urban areas” will be entirely online and on a new dedicated platform, which will be indicated with a subsequent notice on the institutional website of the Department of Productive Activities and on Euroinfosicilia.it. Applications for access to the grant can be sent starting from 12 noon on 1 July and up to 12 noon on 13 July 2021.
