Mobilize, target 20% of the Renault Group’s turnover by 2030

The Renault Group is ready for a radical change, generating more and more profits from the creation of services and not only from the construction of cars as anticipated by the Renaulution plan. Mobilize presented its strategy to generate recurring revenues and achieve the goal of achieving 20% of the Renault Group’s turnover by 2030. The heart of the initiative will be to develop a new business model based on the VaaS (Vehicle-as-a -Service), with a complete offering focused on an integrated software ecosystem.

The Mobilize model

How will these results be achieved? Starting from a model that will be based on a fully integrated software ecosystem that allows, starting from the vehicle (Software Defined Vehicle), to offer all services to private and professional customers. This ecosystem will leverage the technological components already made operational by the Mobilize branches. Through its subsidiaries and the Renault Group, Mobilize has access to over 600 developers, which will allow it to launch a first version of the Software Defined Vehicle as early as 2023. Dedicated vehicles: Mobilize develops its own vehicles, 100% electric and specially designed for a dedicated, shared and intensive use.

Although Mobilize services are independent of the brand or its models, the vehicles will allow mobility operators to optimize the reduction in TCO. Financial services: Thanks to Rci Bank and Services, Mobilize offers financing, insurance and payment services. To consolidate the link between the two companies, Rci Bank and Services changes its name and becomes Mobilize Financial Services. Energy: a complete offer of services related to energy and recharging will be proposed to accompany its customers (mobility operators, fleet managers and individuals) at home, at work and on the road. These services include Mobilize Smart Charge, Mobilize Charge Pass (which gives access to over 260,000 public charging points in Europe, including 1,600 Ionity fast-charging stations), Battery Certificate and Mobilize Power’s charging infrastructure installation service. Solutions. Maintenance and Repair: Based mainly on predictive vehicle maintenance data, the Renault Group’s sales network and Refactories, such as the one in Flins, will be used to repair and recondition its vehicles. By giving them a second and third life, Mobilize increases their use and profitability.
