The Powerball lottery jackpot continues to rise, with no winner found since early January. This Saturday, the jackpot is close to $450 million dollars. To participate, players must choose six numbers, with the winning numbers for this Wednesday’s draw being 3-18-27-36-53 with the Powerball number 12. If you didn’t win, there are still other prize combinations you could win.
In the event of winning the jackpot, the winner must choose between an annualized payment or a single cash value payment. Both options are subject to taxes. Powerball drawings take place three times a week, every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 pm ET. Tickets can be purchased in most states except for Alabama, Nevada, Utah, Hawaii, and Alaska. The next drawings in March are scheduled for Monday, March 4, Wednesday, March 6, and Saturday, March 9.
