SECO announces that it has recorded the highest monthly order intake value since its foundation: the new orders collected in May have in fact exceeded the value of 31 million euros. This amount further increases the value of the backlog which, as previously announced on 12 May last, amounted to 164 million as of 30 April 2022.
Both the orders received from new customers and those obtained from existing customers contributed to the achievement of this result. There is also a strong widespread demand in the vertical markets in which the company operates. In particular, there was an acceleration, compared to the previous year, in the collection of orders in the EMEA, APAC and USA areas.
“We are only at the beginning of a great industrial revolution, where technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, IoT and 5G will enable new business models: the still untapped potential of our market is enormous”, said Massimo Mauri, CEO of SECO.
