The Bus Rapid Transit (BRT), a brand new electrical highway service for the Senegalese capital, progressively enters service beginning right now in Dakar. Malick Ndiaye, Minister of Infrastructure and Land and Air Transport, will give the official approval.

The 18.3-kilometer Dakar Brt mission with 23 bus stops and three switch hubs was constructed by China Road and Bridge Corporation, whereas the buses have been offered by China Railway Rolling Stock Corporation.

A pilot testing section had been underway for a number of months.
