But a look at Paris also raises the question of who has felt addressed by the discussion so far. According to the preliminary results, just six percent of the 1.3 million residents of the French capital took part in the plebiscite. Around 54.5 percent voted in favor of increasing parking fees, around 45.5 percent against it.
