Opel, after the preview of the sixth generation of the 5-door Astra, unveils the station wagon version, the Sports Tourer. A tradition that of Opel family members began almost 60 years ago with the Kadett Caravan.
The new one, which will go on sale in 2022, will debut from its debut in two electrified 225hp plug-in versions that are added to the 130hp petrol and 110hp diesel thermal engines. 4,642mm long, 1,860mm wide and 1,480mm high, the 2022 Sports Tourer is 70mm shorter than the model it replaces, but has a longer wheelbase which improves interior roominess. In addition, the trunk has a capacity of between 608 and 1,634 liters and a completely flat loading floor.
The passenger compartment inherits the 10-inch touch screen from the sedan as well as the availability of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto systems for smartphones. To which is added the evolution of the Intelli-Lux LED headlights, useful because they do not dazzle.
