Stellantis announced that it has participated in the ‘live’ trial of multi-access edge computing (MEC) and 5G cellular communication technologies conducted by the 5G Automotive Association (5GAA) in Blacksburg, Virginia. The ‘live’ test of the new safety concept for drivers and pedestrians pioneered a new roaming technology for traffic safety. Connected vehicle innovation is a crucial part of Stellantis’ technology strategy outlined in ‘Dare Forward 2030’.
