Tensions on the markets following the news of the interruption of Russian gas flows to Germany through the Yamal-Europe pipeline. Data from the pipeline operator, the German Gascade, highlights this interruption of flows after they had already dropped decisively in the last few hours. The Yamal-Europe pipeline is one of the three pipelines that the Russian giant Gazprom uses to convey its gas to Europe. Meanwhile, on the negotiations front, the second round of talks between Russia and Ukraine has begun and the advisor to the Ukrainian president, Mikhailo Podoliak, said that on the agenda there is an immediate ceasefire, armistice and humanitarian corridors for the removal of civilians from bombed villages and towns.
French President Macron, following a telephone conversation with Putin, said that “the worst is yet to come. Putin wants to conquer all of Ukraine”.
