The Canton Fair, one of the oldest and largest trade fairs in China, concluded its second phase on April 27, focusing on the theme of “quality home”. With the third phase set to kick off on May 1, the fair has showcased the latest trends in home decor, smart home technology, and fashion-forward household items.

After 67 years of experience, the Canton Fair has become a vital platform for domestic enterprises to expand their markets, especially in the current challenging foreign trade environment. One example is Shandong’s Cao County, known for its forestry industry and export of products to over 180 countries. At the recent fair, Cao County exhibitors showcased a range of wood products and furniture, emphasizing the importance of participating in exhibitions for market expansion.

Foreign trade companies at the fair highlighted the need to innovate and meet the evolving demands of customers. With international buyers seeking high-quality products at competitive prices, exhibitors emphasized the importance of offering innovative and affordable solutions. Many companies, such as Guangdong’s Zhuhai Keli Tong Electric Co., showcased simple-designed “small home appliances” that catered to consumer preferences.

The pursuit of quality and innovation was evident across various industries at the fair. Guangdong Chaozhou Qingfa Ceramics Co., Ltd. showcased a range of ceramic cups with unique designs to meet diverse consumer needs. Additionally, companies like Zhejiang Aishida Co., Ltd. emphasized environmentally-friendly product designs, addressing issues such as packaging waste and energy consumption.

With over 1 million new products on display, including more than 450,000 green and low-carbon products, the Canton Fair symbolizes the continuous evolution of Chinese manufacturing. By focusing on quality, innovation, and sustainability, Chinese enterprises are setting new standards for global trade and showcasing the potential of “Made in China” products on the international stage.
