Suena Cuba Launches New Virtual SIM Service for Tourists in Cuba

Suena Cuba, a telecommunications platform in agreement with Etecsa, the telecommunications company in Cuba, has announced the launch of a new virtual SIM service for tourists visiting the island. This eSIM service allows tourists to enjoy a hassle-free Internet connection during their trip without the need for a physical SIM card.

With the Cuban eSIM, tourists can benefit from features such as internet connection without a physical SIM card, internet access from anywhere on their trip, rechargeable service for continuous internet access, no need to share personal information, and automatic confirmation with a validity of 7 days.

To purchase the eSIM, tourists can buy it from Suena Cuba, receive a QR code, and install and activate it on their device. The eSIM is priced at 9.45 US dollars and can be paid for with a Credit/Debit Card, PayPal, or Bitcoin. It is important to note that not all devices are compatible with the eSIM, so tourists are advised to check the compatibility of their device before purchasing.

In addition to the eSIM service, Suena Cuba offers other mobile recharge options in Cuba, including Cubacel offers ranging from 250 CUP to 3500 CUP. They also sell the Cubaceltur temporary telephone line, which provides 6 GB of data, 100 minutes, and 100 SMS for 34.99 USD, valid for 30 days.

Tourists can collect their CubacelTur SIM card upon arrival in Cuba at ETECSA stands located at the José Martí (Havana), Camagüey, Holguín, Varadero, Cayo Coco, and Santiago de Cuba airports.
