We need it to run the food industry (baked goods, preserves, sauces, spreadable condiments), horeca – that is hotels, restaurants and catering – which also uses it for frying; but it also serves the oleochemical and energy industry, it serves our farms because the precious sunflower seeds are also used to produce feed.
