Tesla launches a new rear-wheel drive Long Range version of its flagship model: the Model Y. Elon Musk’s house thus plays the card of expanding the offer which allows an advantage in terms of autonomy of up to 600 kilometers with all this that derive from it, maintaining an accessible list price of 49,000 euros. The single engine, in fact, combined with the high energy density battery pack, the heat pump and the low resistance tyres, improve efficiency, equal to 14.9 kWh/100 km, reaching a new cost per kilometer standard.
The equipment of the new version remains of a high standard
Produced in the Berlin-Brandenburg Gigafactory, the new rear-wheel drive Model Y Long Range offers the same solutions already available for the rest of the range, i.e. remote preheating or cooling via the Tesla app and a professional quality audio system combined with streaming apps. Once you have set the cabin temperature and started playing your favorite playlist, the integrated Trip Planner will automatically show where and how long you can stop to recharge and reach your destination quickly.
Accessibility guaranteed by the rest of the Superchargers, but not only
Like the rest of the Tesla models, the new rear-wheel drive Model Y Long Range also has access to Superchargers, the American manufacturer’s fast charging network to which are added domestic energy recovery solutions such as the Wall Connector and also the possibility of using both public and private charging networks which are constantly growing even at the Italian level, guaranteeing access to an omnipresent charging infrastructure which allows you to have problem-free charging available even when travelling.
