Tesla sinks to -5%, investigation on Autopilot triggers the sell on the stock

Difficult Monday on Wall Street for the Tesla stock which swerves to over -5%, falling back into the $ 680 area. The news of the launch of a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) investigation into the Autopilot system present in approximately 765,000 Tesla vehicles in the United States weighs heavily.

Since January 2018, the NHTSA has identified 11 incidents in which Tesla models encountered first responders and subsequently hit one or more vehicles involved in those scenes. Accidents that resulted in 17 injuries and one death.
