The 8th World Drone Conference is set to take place in Shenzhen, with the focus on the low-altitude economic industry hitting the trillion target. Organized by the “2024 Eighth World UAV Conference and the 2024 International Low-Altitude Economy and Unmanned Systems Expo and the 9th Shenzhen International UAV Exhibition,” the event will be held from May 24 to May 26 in Shenzhen.

More than 10,000 industry experts, scholars, and entrepreneurs from over 110 countries and regions are expected to participate in the conference, focusing on topics such as drones, low-altitude economy, eVTOL technology innovation, and artificial intelligence robots. The low-altitude economy has been recognized as a new track with the potential to reach a staggering one trillion in scale.

The rapid advancement of eVTOL (electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft) is also on the agenda, with the commercialization process accelerating. Companies such as Ehang, Xpeng, Fengfei, Wofei, and Shidi have launched and tested several eVTOL products, opening up opportunities for urban air transportation and emergency rescue scenarios.

Drones are making their way into various industries, with an annual output value exceeding 152 billion. The low-altitude economy, supported by drones, is becoming a driving force for social and economic growth. With the integration of unmanned system products in the Internet of Things technology, a new supply chain system is forming, enhancing production and life integration with unmanned products.

The 8th World Drone Conference is expected to shed light on the potential of the low-altitude economic industry and the transformative impact of drones in various sectors. As the global market for drones and eVTOL technology expands, the future looks promising for the continued growth and development of the industry.
