When Jens Eskelund, the head of the EU Chamber of Commerce in Beijing, talks about the state of relations between the EU and China, it almost sounds like an appointment with a couples therapist: āWe have to sit down, listen to each other and then see if we can resolve our differences can clear out. And we have to do it, because it would simply be wrong not to find solutions,ā said Eskelund on Friday when presenting this yearās business climate survey among chamber members. The sentence makes it clear: the mood among EU companies in China is anything but good.
