UniCredit will allow his employees office globally to work on average up to two days a week remotely, when the health emergency comes to an end. A move that will see the bank offer workers the maximum number of days set by the ABI collective agreement.
It smart working, which proved useful and strategic during the pandemic, does not stop. Before the Covid crisis, according to a spokesperson for Unicredit, the company allowed its employees on average one day a week to work remotely.

Mario Sileoni, general secretary of FABI, commented: “This is it an important first step in the right direction. That is to give workers the opportunity to return to the office or work partially remotely, in line with what the national contract says, which allows up to 10 days of smart working per month”.
At the moment around the 40% of employees of the bank globally is employed in central offices.
