United States: Non-manufacturing ISM falls in June and falls short of expectations

Tertiary sector growth in the United States slows. The non-manufacturing ISM index stood at 60.1 points in June, down from 64 in May, disappointing the expectations of analysts who expected a minimum slowdown to 63.5 points. Remember that a level of this indicator below 50 signals a contraction of the economy while a higher level indicates growth.
