USA: weekly crude oil inventories increase more than expected

In the week ending February 2, US oil inventories increased by 5.5 million barrels, compared to the 1.5 million increase expected by analysts (according to the Bloomberg consensus).

Gasoline reserves recorded a reduction of 3.1 million barrels (estimate +0.8 million), while distillate stocks decreased by 3.2 million barrels, compared to an expected drop of 2.1 million .
