Paolo Virzì interrupts the screening of his film. “Get your ticket refunded”
The premium to Torino of the new film by Paolo Virzì it becomes a case. The director argues with the cinema manager Ambrosioaccording to him the film looks badhence the invitation to the people: “Go see it elsewhereso it’s no longer my film”. Virzì – reports Repubblica – decides as a sign of protest to write with a marker on the poster of “Another Ferragosto“, his latest film. “Screenings cancelled! Go see it in a decent cinema!”. And then again, at the end of the screening, “I believe you are entitled to a refund of the ticket. Maybe I’ll come and present it to you again another time, because I’m amazed that they can in Turin project so poorly. I’m so sorry.”
