Contrasted trend for futures on the main US stock indices after the buying on Wall Street last week.

Last Friday the Nasdaq rose by 1.14% to 16,274.94 points, after having tested a new historical record of 16,302.24 points in the intraday highs.

The S&P 500 advanced by 0.80% to 5,137.08, closing above the 5,100 point threshold for the first time ever.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 90.99 points, or 0.23%, to 39,087.38 points.

On a weekly basis, the Nasdaq rose 1.74% last week, while the S&P 500 advanced 0.95%. The Dow, on the other hand, reported a decline of -0.11% on a weekly basis.

At around 6.40 am Italian time, futures on the Dow Jones lost 0.16%, futures on the S&P 500 fell by 0.10%, while futures on the Nasdaq recorded a rise of +0.08%.
